cairn — Delete your account

In the app (instant)

1. Open Cairn, go to the Profile tab, and open Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm with Delete forever.

Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account, email, profile, reading history, saved items, followed topics, notification preferences, and push tokens are removed, and every signed-in device is signed out. If you used Sign in with Apple, Cairn also revokes the associated Apple refresh token before deleting the account.

If you've uninstalled the app

Email n.anu18272003@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Cairn account deletion request". We'll delete the account and confirm within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What is and isn't deleted

• Deleted: account and email, profile (name, avatar), reading history, saved items, tour progress, followed topics, notification preferences, push tokens.
• Kept, anonymised: feedback you submitted (your email is removed from it). Already-received analytics use a random install identifier, and crash reports are not tagged with your Cairn account id.
